CAREER DEVELOPMENT
In 2022 we were proud to launch our bespoke leadership development
programme for our emerging leaders in Avolon, which we called
Accelerate. We have designed our own leadership development journey
focused on the behaviour, mindset and knowledge changes required to
develop leaders who think and act differently. This will fuel our growth
now and into the future, with a particular emphasis on developing our
female leadership pipeline.
Mid-career learning
EDGE PROGRAMME
EDGE stands for Elevate, Deliver, Grow, Evolve, and is an L&D initiative specifically targeted at those at the mid-career delivering level in Avolon’s career framework.
EDGE gives our people the chance to expand their knowledge of diverse activities in our business, and to explore how to add value and enhance impact by learning from our own knowledge experts and external stakeholders. This is all done through a variety of bespoke, interactive and practical modules delivered by our own subject experts and external stakeholders.

EVOLVE TALENT SUMMIT
We are committed to ongoing learning and development opportunities. This was reflected in our first Evolve Talent Summit, held in May 2023 where teams from all six of our global offices came together for an immersive and interactive development experience that will help us work closer together as high performing teams and build our innovation capacity.
Early Careers
AVOLON AVIATION EXPERIENCE DAY
Our Aviation Experience Day brought transition year students to Weston Airport for an exciting day of learning and flying. We hope the experience will be the catalyst for them to consider the many opportunities there are in aviation.

At Avolon, we are passionate about our obligation to help and enable entrepreneurial endevour. Given our start-up success, we feel a responsibility to promote innovation and encourge other Irish companies to scale, delivering econimic benefits to stakeholders, investors and to Ireland itself. We developed Project i, a white paper that has Ireland's best economic interests at its core.
