CELEBRATING FLIGHT

RECOGNISING PASSIONATE AVIATORS, PROUD HEROES AND AERONAUTICAL GENIUS

At Avolon, we are extremely proud of Ireland's rich aviation heritage. Here we recognise the pioneering aviators whose vision, passion, successes and failures helped forge Ireland’s unique aviation landscape.

AVOLON GLOBAL STUDIO AWARD

In 2016, Avolon created the Global Studio Award - offering international artists a residency at the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) Gallery in Dublin. Each year Avolon invites artists from a specific geographic region to apply for the residency. Selected by an independent committee, the chosen artists take up residency in Dublin for three months and are provided with a studio at the RHA for the duration of their stay.
